He was previously in High Yield Finance at The First Boston Corporation. Phil is currently a director of EACOM Timber, Logan's Roadhouse and PowerTeam Services. In addition, he is active in the Firm’s investments in Eagle Family Foods, Sandler O’Neill + Partners and Venari Resources. He has served as a director on the boards of many Kelso portfolio companies, including Armkel, Cronos, Custom Building Products, Del Laboratories, DS Waters, Nortek, Overwatch Systems, PSAV and Wilton Re.

Frank received a B.A. in Economics with Distinction from the University of Virginia in 1991. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the College Foundation of the University of Virginia and a Trustee of Prep for Prep, a New York-based non-profit organization, as well as a Director of Audubon Connecticut, the state organization of the National Audubon Society.

“Nick” joined Kelso in 1977. He has been involved with private equity investing since joining the Firm 39 years ago. He spent the preceding six years practicing as a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to having been a member of numerous Kelso portfolio company boards, Nick is a former director of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and BlackRock, Inc. Nick received a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1970. He is currently a Trustee of NYU Hospitals Center. He has also won 20 North American Bridge League National titles, represented the United States in International competition 15 of the last 20 years and has been a member of the team that won the World Championship on four different occasions.

Lynn joined Kelso in 2010. She is focused on marketing, fundraising and investor relations. She spent the preceding eight years as an active leader in a variety of non-profit organizations and raising her four children. She spent the previous seven years in the Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch & Co., eventually becoming Director. She also spent three years as an Associate in the Natural Resources Investment Banking group at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Lynn earned an M.B.A. with Distinction from the University of Michigan in 1991 and received a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Texas Tech University in 1986. She holds a Certificate in Management Accounting. She has been a member of the Business Advisory Council of the Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business since its inception in 2001, chairing the Council from 2012 to 2014. She is also a member of the Investment Committee for the Texas Tech University endowment.

Paul joined Kelso in 2015. As an operating partner at the Firm, Paul is focused on improving the operational performance of Kelso’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Kelso, he spent 12 years at Platinum Equity as an operations executive and Principal. During this time, he led numerous successful company transformations across a variety of industries. Previously, he worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and Marakon Associates. Paul earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1995 and received a B.A. from Stanford University in 1990 with departmental honors in economics.

Michael joined Kelso in 2016. He is focused on the firm’s capital markets activities, including acquisition financing for new investments and capital structure optimization for existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining Kelso, Michael was a Vice President in the Leveraged Finance group at Goldman Sachs where he was responsible for originating, structuring and executing leveraged loan and high yield bond financings. Previously, Michael held capital markets roles at RoundPoint Capital Group and Banc of America Securities. Michael earned an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management in 2012 and received a B.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2004.

“Nick” joined Kelso in 1977. He has been involved with private equity investing since joining the Firm 39 years ago. He spent the preceding six years practicing as a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to having been a member of numerous Kelso portfolio company boards, Nick is a former director of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. and BlackRock, Inc. Nick received a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1970. He is currently a Trustee of NYU Hospitals Center. He has also won 20 North American Bridge League National titles, represented the United States in International competition 15 of the last 20 years and has been a member of the team that won the World Championship on four different occasions.

During this time, he led numerous successful company transformations across a variety of industries. Previously, he worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and Marakon Associates. Paul earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1995 and received a B.A. from Stanford University in 1990 with departmental honors in economics.

He is focused on the firm’s capital markets activities, including acquisition financing for new investments and capital structure optimization for existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining Kelso, Michael was a Vice President in the Leveraged Finance group at Goldman Sachs where he was responsible for originating, structuring and executing leveraged loan and high yield bond financings. Previously, Michael held capital markets roles at RoundPoint Capital Group and Banc of America Securities. Michael earned an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management in 2012 and received a B.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2004.

Lynn joined Kelso in 2010. She is focused on marketing, fundraising and investor relations. She spent the preceding eight years as an active leader in a variety of non-profit organizations and raising her four children. She spent the previous seven years in the Investment Banking division of Merrill Lynch & Co., eventually becoming Director. She also spent three years as an Associate in the Natural Resources Investment Banking group at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Lynn earned an M.B.A. with Distinction from the University of Michigan in 1991 and received a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Texas Tech University in 1986. She holds a Certificate in Management Accounting. She has been a member of the Business Advisory Council of the Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business since its inception in 2001, chairing the Council from 2012 to 2014. She is also a member of the Investment Committee for the Texas Tech University endowment.

Previously, he worked at Capital Z Investments where he ran the Investor Relations and Marketing department. Prior to Capital Z, he was a senior fundraiser for J.P. Morgan’s fund placement team where he raised capital for numerous private equity funds. John earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1994 and received an A.B., magna cum laude, from Brown University in 1989. He is a Trustee of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Uncommon Schools NYC Charters and the JW Foundation.

Howard earned an M.B.A. from St. John’s University in 1979, where he graduated beta gamma sigma, and received a B.A. in Political Science from Queens College in 1976.
